Soy-Based Adhesives Mussel Out Formaldehyde to Meet New Regulations

Formaldehyde-free plywood panels can be manufactured using soy-based adhesives. The United Soybean Board developed this technology, which can be a cost saving solution to meet new rules proposed by the US EPA. The proposed rules set limits on how much formaldehyde may be released from engineered woods.
